Formed in 1979 as an electronics design and manufacturing company, MEWW soon earned a reputation for innovative solutions for engineering challenges. By 1992 the firm’s experience and expertise in inverter technology was focused on the expanding UK emergency lighting market.
By 2000 the firm had invested in new plant and machinery. Equipped with the latest surface mount, automatic insert and EMC testing technology a new level of product advancement and customer service was achieved. Relocation to larger premises in Surrey and an approved quality management system to ISO9001: 2000 followed in 2002.
A wide range of emergency lighting equipment was designed and produced and successful trading partnerships with some of Europe’s leading luminaire manufacturers were established.
