Leading Healthcare system in the state of Florida is looking for a NICU Nurse Manager for their Jacksonville hospital.
As a NICU Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and professional nursing practice of assigned unit(s). The NICU Nurse Manager will be responsible for hiring and firing nursing personnel, periodic employee evaluations, orientation of new employees and performance improvement activities. This position will supervise RN's, Patient Care Associates, Clerical Associates, and other clinical support personnel as well as coach and mentor associates for succession planning. Additionally, the NICU Nurse Manager will be responsible for cost center budgeting.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree, BSN required within two years of job assignment.
Masters in Nursing or Related field, preferred
Evidence of leadership and management
Previous supervisory experience
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated management skills, conflict resolution and negotiation techniques.
