Our client , one of the leading Oil &Gas companies in Malaysia is seeking for suitable and qualified candidates to apply - Production Chemist

The scope of works of the Production Chemistry that we are looking for are as follows but not limited to:
- 10-15 years experience in operational positions in Exploration & Production working in or closely with Drilling,Production Engineering and Engineering design groups.
- Hands on experience of analysis of produced gases and liquids for unwanted contaminants such as H2S,CO2,water or mercury.
- Understanding of produced and injected fluids properties in particular for potential corrosion management purposes.
- Demonstrable experience in solving operational problem associated with corrosion water injection treatment,mineral scales,organic deposition,flow assurance and other production chemistry issues.
- Experience in design and execution of routine and non-routine field sampling procedures.
- Experience in testing and evaluating wax and hydrate inhibition products and procedures especially in deep water well operations. |
| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years professional experience desired
- At least degree in Chemical Engineering
- Proven Oil Technology support
Knowledge & Skills:
- Expert in one or more of the major refining processes - e.g. Hydroprocessing, Hydrotreating, Reforming etc..
- Petrochemical industry experience with either an operating company, a major process engineering contractor and/or a process catalyst vendor.
- Working understanding of catalyst testing procedures and relevant refinery technologies.
- General knowledge of catalyst preparation and characterization is essential with well developed analytical skills.
- Design, capital project and field experience with process equipment desirable.
- Experience in plant optimization and/or process control desirable.
- Troubleshooting and Optimum operation of process systems and familiarity with state-of the art in one or more process technologies
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel working in an industrial, international, petrochemical organization is essential.
- Possess leadership experience and skills to facilitate broad-based implementation of technology improvements via diversified teams is desirable
- Demonstrate traits of an effective team player, ability to work independently and take ownership of work assignments. Innovative and ability to multi task several projects simultaneously.
