· The Emergency Department has 42 rooms, including 19 monitored beds, and five express care beds.
· In addition, the five-bed Chest Pain Center-housed in the Emergency Department-is designated to care for individuals with acute cardiac problems.
· A Pediatric ED is also offered.
· Patient care areas are designed and specially equipped to care for all medical and surgical emergencies affecting patients of all ages including the neonate to the geriatric.
· Staffing consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Patient Care Technicians and Unit Secretaries.
· Staffing is distributed over 3 shifts (day, evening, nights
