Significant Relationships Internal FO, BO, FMO, NDI and ELS personnel. External Daily contact with customer in order to solve and follow up raised concerns/issues related to Transmission. Overall Purpose To efficiently manage Transmission related issues, problems and concerns. Principal Responsibilities • Prepares Transmission performance reports • Trouble-shoot related Transmission equipment by using relevant O&M software and terminals as well as external test instruments. • Ensures that detected problems are resolved within agreed timeframes, “KPIs”. • Responsible to provide support to regional maintenance teams on Transmission problems. • Responsible to handle and follow up all escalated problems in the form of TTs, CSRs,…etc concerning Transmission, • Offer remote/on-site support & trouble shooting of Transmission related problems, • Offer expert knowledge concerning analysis of Transmission reports, • Monitor MLM • Interpret Transmission statistical reports. • Transfer of knowledge to local employees • Contributes to the creation and improvements of Transmission processes and routines within MS. • Transmission Engineer function is vital in keeping the Radio Access network performance at the highest possible level by ensuring that problems / degradations are handled swiftly, that relevant performance parameters are monitored interpreted and followed. • Detect, (measure) and highlight existing Transmission deficiencies and predict possible future deficiencies and congestions |
