| Job Beschreibung: |
Our client, a MNC Oil & Gas in Brunei is seeking for a suitable and qualified candidate (with Oil and Gas exposure) to fill in for the above position.
Contract Period : 12 MONTHS
Note : Open to All Nationalities
Closing : 7 MAR 08
Job Purpose:
- The development of interfaces to/from P3E and other (multidiscipline) applications i.e Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, .NET
Principal accountabilities:
- Assist in analysis and developing Functional Specification in accordance to the requirements of the business.
- Design and construct programs and related technical components in accordance to BSP and Shell group standards given a Functional Specification.
- Participate in system and acceptance testing, or technical evaluation of packages.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients as part of the initial P3E/IAP IT support team.
- Act a coach and trainer for local staff in development and maintenance of interfaces of P3E with other systems.
Develop Technical Guide, End User Guide and Training Guide.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Preferred Skills:
- Having worked in an environment supporting Activity, Project and Maintenance Planning related activities-related applications in an Oil Exploration and Production organisation would be an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in P3E and Oracle 10g.
- Capable of, and have experience in, developing and maintaining information systems for large or medium organisations using standards and methodology of system development cycle, and have fair understanding of test methodology, quality control and change management process.
- Experience in web technology and application development in P3E, Visual Studio, VB script/ Java-script would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years experience as a programmer.
- At least 3-5 years experience in Application Development using PL/SQL, .NET, Oracle 9 or 10i
- At least 3-5 years experience in developing and maintaining large-scale Business Planning Management System such as SAP-PS
- Knowledge in SAP-PS and have developed interfaces between P3E and other planning systems, eg. SAP-PS
Excellent experience in P3E including development of applications and interface with P3E
- Experience in software project management preferred
- Experience in conducting trainings for end-users and for system administrators and/or technical support team
- Leadership skill and experience as a software project team-leader an advantage
- Experience in Windows NT and PC desktop environment
