Our Client has an opening for both a Geologist and a Chief Geologist:
Geologist:
Duties and Responsibilities: Accountable for:
• Structural and Geological Mapping of Development and Exploration Headings
• Geological Interpretation
• Preparation of Maps and Reports
• Interpretation and Calculations of Ore Reserves
• Maintenance of the Geological Database
• Provision of Geological Information to Operating Personnel
• Planning for Drilling and Core Logging
Chief Geologist:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervising collection & compilation of geological data, supervision of all site geologist and geological department.
Provide expertise to guide U/G & Surface Mining Including:
Development
Grade control
Exploration
Calculation of ore reserves
Coordinate diamond drilling
Computerization of graded control
Supervision of Geology Dept.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Geologist:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology /Geology Diploma
3/5 Years of Geological Experiences
Chief Geologist:
B.Sc. degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years related experience preferably in a gold mining operation, and/or experience as a Chief Geologist.
Other: Knowledge of geological computer programs such as, GEMCOM, Surpac, Vulcan, and Auto-CAD
Experience with computerized geological modeling and knowledge of geostatistical ore reserve estimation techniques.
Experience on Archean Ore Deposits is an asset.
