Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with ByD Field Solution Advisor to support the ByD TeleSales Representative or Territory Sales Executive by positioning the SAP ME business solution to the customer. This includes understanding of customer pain points and explaining how SAP can address them via SAP ME Solution.
• Lead the definition of the prospect’s business requirements, needs, and objectives to create product demonstrations that exemplifies how the SAP solution portfolio can best meet their requirements.
• Provide guidance to the TeleSales Representative or Territory Sales Executive, and, as warranted in complex sales cycles. Partner resources on how to effectively position and communicate the benefits and solution applicability of mid-market-specific solution offerings/packages.
• Communicate the business requirements to project/implementation team after completion of sale to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation stages, warranting a continuous degree of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct scoping study to get in-depth needs analysis as required.
• Focus on presales activities in the scope of the TCE (“Total Customer Experience”) engagement process; conduct customer presales engagements and meetings; create based on end customer needs and partner capabilities a value oriented proposition and present explaining the benefits; perform customer demos and trial, solution and evaluation process advisory, solution scoping exercise
• Help to select and pre-qualify early customers for SAP ME Solution
• Helping with creation and localization of customer presentations, demo and trial system and set up
• Testing of SAP ME solution and localization needs

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Requirements:
•University degree in any discipline with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Diploma holders with 5 years of relevant experience will also be considered
• 2-3 years of experience in presales in at least 2 areas of ME ERP, CRM, SCM, SRM with SAP or other products. Ideally a combination of FI/HR or Logistics (CRM/SCM/SRM)
• Industry experience in at least 2 of the following: IM&C, High Tech, Automotive, Chemicals, Mill, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Prof. Service, Wholesale
• Strong skills in demo and presentation, remotely with tools such as Webex, Netmeeting or equivalent
• Open to new ways of doing business
• Able to work in a team and take on flexible roles within the team
•Confident and assertive
• Good interpersonal skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint essential
• Fluent written and verbal command of English and local language
• Able to work independently & under pressure and in a changing job environment
