The Area Manager role supports the retail strategy and is responsible for delivering results by objectives aligned with the strategy to all the stores.
Responsibilities
• Drives Retail strategy through store Managers
• Understands their part of the Retail objectives and delivers against them Full P&L accountability
• Drives sales and controls costs
• Drives customer service excellence through store Managers – ensuring a consistent approach
• Ensures operational consistency and driving excellence throughout the stores
• Highlighting and implementing best practise across the area
• Ensures compliance with H&S policy and procedures across the area
• Analysis of business information in order to improve turnover / profit
• Raising commercial awareness of store Managers – in order to meet targets and other benchmarks
