Software R&D Manager
Exciting new software development manager opening. Will be responsible for directing growing R&D team in J2EE / Java development. Will recruit, coach, and develop engineering talent. MUST HAVE come from a strong J2EE technical background. MUST HAVE managed people and overseen the full life cycle of a software system.
Will... Provide technical leadership for staff developing and planning new software product development projects. Manage budgets, logistics, and objectives. Identify resource requirements, write justifications and coordinate hiring through HR. Direct and guide lower level supervisors and engineers. Interact with customers. Interpret and execute policies. Monitor compliance and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bscs or related (advanced degree preferred)
5+ years of experience developing state of the art software products in a client/server based system used for gathering and displaying information from complex devices.
Java/J2EE development expertise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management experience advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership and success in managing an R&D team. |
