This top tier off-shore firm is seeking to add a senior associate who has trained and qualified with a leading firm and has at least 4 years experience working on corporate/commercial related matters. Excellent academics are a pre-requisite, as is a highly motivated and team focused approach. This is a fantastic career opportunity which will be made sweeter by the huge tax free salary, annual bonus and full relocation package.
You will be joining a well established and industry leading team that advises both institutional and private clients on a wide range of matters including:
· international group structuring in and through Bermuda, taking advantage of their tax neutrality and stable reputation
· the creation and administration of investment vehicles such as mutual funds,
· unit trusts, limited and general partnerships, as well as ancillary matters, including custodial, administration and investment management agreements
· the incorporation, and winding up of all types of companies
· the registration and licensing of regulated entities, banks, trust companies, insurance companies and corporate management companies
· the raising of capital including individual and syndicated loans, public and private placement of all forms of commercial paper such as bond and note issues, debentures, preferred stock, etc
· preparation of and advising on, commercial agreements
· the conflict of laws and the provision of legal opinions on Bermuda' aspects of international transactions
· ECommerce in Bermuda.
