The role carries the following responsibilities:
Provide advanced clinical and administrative support to the dental practitioner. Provide chair-side assistance and ensure correct equipment and materials are available. Ensure correct usage of all dental equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and report any faults to the practice manager. Ensure sterilisation of all clinical areas and office reception. Accurately complete clinical records as directed. Handle all substances in accordance with COSHH procedures. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules and procedures. Complete laboratory request forms and keep records of work sent, received and fitted. Carry out regular stock-takes and notify practice manager when supplies need to be ordered. Ensure patient records are accurately maintained and stored. Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records. Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-house training sessions.
Day to day office reception responsibilities include the operation of the appointment system, handling phone calls, and welcoming clients. |
| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
You must have a professional working attitude, a pleasant manner, be willing to work as part of a team, be computer literate, and able to use your own initiative. A very good English language level is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable Dental Nursing experience. Detailed references will be required in order to verify this experience. |
