Senior Contracts Manager/Administrator – Silver Spring, MD
Position Description
Responsible for full life-cycle contract management/administration of Federal contracts/procurements. Enforces Government contracting law and regulations, contract termination procedures, cost and pricing policies, and industry practices and processes.
Responsible for processing statements of work, requests for quotes and proposals, award documents, and contract administration. Will interface with program procurement, contract, and finance staff to communicate and track contract/procurement requirements.
Skills Required
Five + years experience in Federal contracts administration. Requires a broad knowledge of acquisition management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a professional team environment, a must. Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certification, and/or equivalent certification preferred.
Education
BA/BS in appropriate field, or equivalent.
