Function
The Project Manager organizes and implements new processes and supervises special projects.
Hierarchy
The Project Manager reports directly to the Director.
Responsibilities
The Project Engineer’s responsibilities, among others, are to:
• Participate in the development of new processes;
• Participate in the recommendations and approval of tenders;
• Participate in pre-production and product planning;
• Participate in the analysis and search for causes of nonconformities and the devising of corrective action needed to ensure that defects do not re-occur;
• Participate in the development of a maintenance and preventive maintenance schedule and procedures and keep them current, in cooperation with eh Production Manager, the Maintenance Manager and the Quality Assurance Manager;
• Participate in pre-production testing of new equipment;
• Participate in the formulation of work instructions for new equipment;
• Participate in new acquisitions with the President.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Project Engineer has the supervisory responsibility to:
• Assign tasks to personnel for designated special projects;
• Coordinate and verify the execution of the assigned tasks;
• Provide and record training to personnel assigned to designated special projects;
• Evaluate the performance of personnel assigned to designated special projects.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
The Project engineer should possess:
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering;
• A minimum of 3 years experience with process development;
• A minimum of 3 years experience with statistical process control techniques. |
