Toronto - Ontario - Kanada |
| Stellen-Beschreibung: |
We are looking specifically for candidates who have an expert level at writing Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish, Brazilian-Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, French and Castilian Spanish, as well as a high level of English comprehension.
A simple explanation of the Subtitle Editing is: Workers will watch movies or TV shows in English while Spotting/Quality Controlling the Foreign Language subtitles, looking for errors and making corrections.
We have both full-time and part-time positions (around 20-40 hours per week) and flexible hours.
The pay for Subtitle Editing and Gaming is $13/hr.
We ask all of our applicants to complete a test of their language skills and computer savvy.
The test will take approx. 3 hours to complete.
Testing requires translation of English to the native language in a computer document.
There will NOT be an opportunity to do a retest.
This position is great for those who are new to Canada - workers do not need previous Canadian experience to do the job.
Although our preference is to have individuals who have a valid work permit, we are willing to fill out a Labour Market Opinion for those who excel on our language test in an effort to help the individual obtain a Canadian Work Permit.
Our priority is for people to work out of our Toronto office, but others who may wish to work remotely are welcome to apply as well.
