Sr.Civil Engineer
Responsibilities
Civil Engineers
Duties:
You will work in an integrated team with a focus on the design of civil earthworks and/or underground structures for oil and gas, power generation, and petrochemical facilities.
With respect to earthworks, you will be involved in the calculation and design the following:
• Rough and finished grading;
• Road and railroad access;
• Cut and fill analysis;
• Drainage calculations;
• Retaining walls;
• Tank farms, ponds; and
• Site layout and design.
For underground structures, you will calculate and design the following:
• Water and sewer lines;
• Fire water systems;
• Piped in utilities;
• Oily water lines; and
• Catch basins.
Required:
• B.Sc. in civil engineering.
• Member in good standing with APEGGA; or
• Eligibility for membership in APEGGA.
• At least five years experience in the design of earthworks and/or underground structures for large oil and gas, power generation, or petrochemical facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Qualifications
Desired:
• Proficiency with MicroStation and AutoDesk.
• Previous experience in an EPC or EPCM environment.
• Previous experience in a lead role or on multi-disciplinary project teams.
