3-5 years experience as a Help Desk technician/analyst in a large-scale Windows based corporate environment.
Candidate must have a strong technical knowledge of Windows 2000/XP and MS Outlook XP/2003 in an Exchange environment. Must have proven ability to quickly resolve issues involving remote connectivity (VPN), home wireless, and email. Must understand and solve customer’s problems using proper customer service and technical problem solving skills, escalate when needed, and provide proper notification on issues is also required.
A degree in computer science or related field, M.C.S.E., A+ and/or related certifications and technical training and documentation skills are preferred.
Must have positive behavior and maintain professionalism when confronted with upset or irate customers. Must be able to adapt to changes in work procedures, new technologies, and new policies. Must be flexible to changes in work schedule, shifts, and days off.
