This leading Healthcare Organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst for a permanent role based in Qatar.
In the role you will be responsible for managing the development of new or modification of existing IT systems. The Analyst’s primary task is to assist in defining user requirements, project management and be the interface with end users and in-house and external developers to ensure the end product meets user requirements.
The Analyst shall serve as resource for vendor teams and for implementations of off-the-shelf application systems and enterprise solutions, with a functional understanding of clinical and business requirements of the hospital.
Main duties include:
1 Responsible for translating end users’ requirements into desired products and effective IT solutions.
2 Manages the project by defining the system architecture and interfaces, defining user requirements, workflows needed to support the application, co-ordinates project development across internal programmers and external vendors in delivering the end product within the given timeline, budgets and targets.
3 Support in the implementation of new or modification of existing IT systems.
4 Develops test plans for testing the system functionality and in conducting user acceptance testing.
5 Responsible for the technical documentation for design, architecture, release notes and user guides.
To apply for the role you will have a Degree in Computer Science or relevant college degree with a minimum 5 years experience in IT applications projects implementation and support.
Any experience with Data Warehousing, Databases, ETL, report writers, COTS applications integration, and hands-on experience would be a plus.

The Analyst shall assist in documenting applications, such as writing requirements and alternative analyses, system specifications and other deliverable documentation. He/She must be able to back up recommendations, feasibility, and needs analysis with data and evidence in a convincing manner.
The Analyst shall serve as resource for vendor teams and for implementations of off-the-shelf application systems and enterprise solutions, with a functional understanding of clinical and business requirements of the hospital.
Main duties include:

9 Develop training courses for staff. Oversee user training of new applications.
10 Assumes other responsibilities as directed by the Manager, Enterprise Applications.
To apply for the role you will have a Degree in Computer Science or relevant college degree with a minimum 5 years experience in IT applications projects implementation and support.
Specific experience will ideally include Healthcare and/or Financial Applications, such as GE, Document Management Systems, Access & ID Management Systems, Siemens, Lawson, Oracle Financials, Meditech, Cerner, PACS, Omnicell, etc.
Any experience with Data Warehousing, Databases, ETL, report writers, COTS applications integration, and hands-on experience would be a plus.
