This leading Healthcare Organisation is seeking a Database Administrator for a permanent role based in Qatar.
The DBA’s primary task is to assist in defining user requirements, project management and be the interface with end users and in-house and external developers to ensure the end product meets user requirements.
The DBA must be adept at package integration, application integration, application consolidation and windows application development.
To apply for the role you will have a Degree in Computer Science or relevant college degree with a minimum 2 years experience in database management for large applications.
In return you will receive a TAX FREE salary between $50k - $55K USD TAX FREE.

This leading Healthcare Organisation is seeking a Database Administrator for a permanent role based in Qatar.
In the role you will responsible for managing the database development of new or modification of existing IT systems. The DBA’s primary task is to assist in defining user requirements, project management and be the interface with end users and in-house and external developers to ensure the end product meets user requirements.
The DBA must be adept at package integration, application integration, application consolidation and windows application development. The DBA shall assist in documenting applications, such as writing requirements and alternative analyses, system specifications and other deliverable documentation.
Your main duties will include:
1 Responsible for translating end users’ requirements into desired products and effective IT solutions.
2 Manages the project by defining the system architecture and interfaces, defining user requirements, workflows needed to support the application, co-ordinates project development across internal programmers and external vendors in delivering the end product within the given timeline, budgets and targets.
3 Assists in the development of new or modification of existing IT systems and Data Warehouse.
4 Develops test plans for testing the system functionality and in conducting user acceptance testing.
5 Responsible for the technical documentation for design, architecture, release notes and user guides.
6 Provides support for production problems, such as tracking and resolving errors.
7 Support building of information warehouse for the hospital by designing and development of DW and analyzing user reporting requirements.
8 Participates in the Hospital’s committees and work groups as required.
9 Assumes other responsibilities as directed by the Manager, Enterprise Applications.
10 Manage databases from all aspects, backup and recovery process, security, role definitions, integrity, etc.
