The E&D division is one of the fastest growing within Microsoft and consists of such well known franchises as Xbox360,Halo, Zune, Age of Empires and many, many more. It sits in a strategic position within Microsoft where the Digital Lifestyle concept comes together and is marketed.
The Entertainment & Devices (E&D) Systems group in EMEA is looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join the team. Somebody who likes to roll their sleeves up, get stuck in and solve real world business problems.
The primary focus for the Systems team is to partner with Supply Chain to deliver innovative business solutions to prepare for the next wave of growth in the years ahead. This encompasses our internal ecosystem comprised of many vendors and partners and also our broader environment spanning our retail and end user channels across EMEA.
As a Solution Manager you will be the main point of contact, or liaison, between the E&D business and the E&D Systems group. You will act as a Lean Trusted Partner to the business and provide thought leadership in defining tool investment options and driving business collaboration across regions & streams. Translate business requirements for specific regions and/or business streams into functional requirements and related tools changes, facilitating their prioritization across E&D. Drive the implementation of multiple changes to cross-stream applications and SAP R/3, from requirements definition all the way through to go-live, serving as the business contact for all issues and coordinating the technical requirements with E&D Systems.
You will leverage technology when appropriate but will also work with Supply Chain stakeholders to drive process excellence across the end to end supply chain.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for representing the business and priorities in the development of the functional requirements for large, complex product(s) or for multiple smaller products.
• Defines, analyses and documents business & customer requirements for existing and future products. Clarifies team roles, identifies stakeholders, provides clear resource and time estimates, and defines scope, resulting in minimal schedule and budget variance.
• Brings stakeholders to agreement on key issues, builds a community in support of the line of business, facilitates effective decision-making processes, and brokers agreements, which results in well-implemented projects that meet stakeholder and business needs
• Understands business direction and strategy, and pro-actively leads and incorporates requirements into the product planning process.
• Proactively seeks user feedback in an effort to improve application design and deployment.
• Supports and partners with regional counterparts for global initiatives
• Participate in (and lead where possible) global initiatives
• Continually stay abreast of trends and opportunities in technology (with specific focus on Supply Chain)

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Essential Requirements
• 5+ years demonstrated product management experience
• Degree (or higher) in Engineering or Computing discipline
• Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside group and in managing virtual teams to deliver on programs
• Ability to understood the client and technology ecosystem (industry, best practices, tools and technology landscape, competitor offerings, etc.) and use the knowledge to define and improve business requirements definition for the line of business
• Ability to define vision and scope documents that clearly describe the vision for the line of business, are unambiguous, complete, and aligned to the enterprise architecture
• Experience of working across multiple organizations with emphasis on communicating and decision making with demonstrated ability to work under pressure
Desired Requirements
• Experience of appropriate techniques to elicit line-of-business project requirements which result in efficient use of resources and accurate requirements definition
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and direct the actions of others
• Training and certification in BPM methodologies(LEAN, Six Sigma )
• Knowledge of core technology platform ( business intelligence portals, workflow, integration )
