Teacher of French
A specialist sports college in Maidstone are seeking a dynamic, passionate teacher of French is required to teach from 1st September 2008.
The school is smaller than average catering for approximately 800 students. It also has a sixth form. The most recent Ofsted reports comments that the school is an “improving school with a strong sports character”.
The school is seeking a teacher who can excel creating stand-out lessons that motivate students and become fully engaged in learning the language of French.
The ideal teacher for this role will:
- Have QTS or an overseas equivalent qualification
- Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Be well organised with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
- Have great organisation and time management skills
Experience teaching in schools in the UK is an advantage but not essential.
