This Position Is Open To U.S. Citizens only due to the contractors association with the department of defense. I have an opening for a temporary position: NDT Level II or III MT Specialist. The job is slated to start at the beginning of July, 2008. The position would require crossing a picket line during a labor dispute. The job details are as follows:
Position Summary: The NDT Level II or III Specialist reports to the Quality Leader and is responsible for the day-to-day technical support for all nondestructive testing. This individual will apply the NDT technologies of Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT). This individual will work in concert with the Quality Leader to provide the overall technical leadership and future development direction for Nondestructive Evaluation at our client's facility.
· Will make final determination on acceptability of questionable hardware found by the NDT process, maintain all necessary documentation of the controls of the NDT processes, including their solutions and equipment.
· Will develop, update and institute NDT procedures and work instructions as required for existing equipment and implement new NDT inspection equipment, including necessary capability studies, procedures, work instructions and inspector training.
Position Requirements: The position requires a NDT level II or III MT certification.
Compensation: Hourly rate of $25.00, (negotiable). Perdiem $35.00 a day. Travel by air to and from site. Transportation at site; as well as, hotel accommodations will be provided. Work schedule: 7 days a week 12 hours per day. Reply by email for consideration. |
