To further grow our Energy team in Europe we are seeking a Senior Consultant to work with one of our key global Clients, BP, providing project assurance services. You will be responsible for implementing and managing the project risk management and action tracking systems to assure compliance with BP project governance processes. You will also be responsible for knowledge, performance, change and benchmarking management.
Risk Management
Fulfil the role of risk champion on the project providing energy and focus to risk management
Implement and maintain the risk management plan
Knowledge Management
Fulfil the role of knowledge champion on the project providing energy and focus to knowledge management
Implement and maintain the knowledge management plan
Performance Management
Develop and implement the project performance management system
Maintain project dashboards in key delivery and functional performance areas
Plan, organise and lead regular performance review meetings
Prepare monthly and quarterly project reports
Change Management
Fulfil the role of change co-ordinator on the project providing energy and focus to change management and coach the team in “best in class” management of change processes
Benchmarking
Establish benchmarking requirements for future decommissioning projects
It is envisaged the candidate will have a proven track record in project controls and the leadership and management of multi-discipline teams. You must be fully conversant with project control techniques, systems, databases, processes and procedures.
Experience in an oil and gas major project environment is preferred. Other requirements include:
Degree or HND in relevant discipline
Highly numerate and computer literate
Proactive and flexible
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Client facing
Able to promote a positive team environment
Can build networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge
