Position Objectives
Reporting to the Manager, Building Trades and Grounds, you will perform work in the lubrication and running maintenance of pumps, motors, fans, air filters and other equipment related to the heating, cooling and ventilation systems of The Banff Centre. You will check each piece of equipment for possible defects and reports any problem area. In addition, you will also re-lamp all light fixtures throughout the property.
Responsibilities
Repair pumps, align equipment and perform other duties of a millwright nature.
Test water and perform chemical treatment of all water systems outside of the main plant.
Repair small appliances and servicing washers and dryers when necessary.
Perform minor repair and other related duties as required.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Qualifications
To be well suited for this position you will have one to two years experience in operation and/or maintenance of mechanical equipment. As well as considerable knowledge of methods, tools and practices applicable to trade speciality is required.
You will enjoy working in a team environment and will be customer service oriented. You may be required to work an irregular work schedule including weekends, nights, holidays or extended hours or be on standby during non-regular hours of work.
If you do not possess an Engineer 5th class ticket already, there is an opportunity to complete this training, in a given amount of time, during your employment.
Special Requirements
There are specific clothing requirements for this position.
Candidates offered a position with the Centre, in this capacity, will be required to obtain a criminal record check through the local R.C.M.P. detachment, verifying a clear record before a final job offer can be made.
