This position requires the candidate to have a strong knowledge of web development including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint, Quark Xpress, Page Maker, Macromedia Flash MX and Actionscript, Dreamweaver MX,Macromedia Director 8.5 and other main-stream design tools. As well, skills with coding web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Areas of expertise should span CD, print and web mediums. Experience with cross-browser coding, including browser-safe hex palettes. Proactively ensuring that quality of development of websites is an asset.
Salary Range: $20 to $25 per hour, salary to commensurate on experience.
Benefits Include: 3 weeks vacation, health benefits after 3 months.

Qualification Highlights:
You are an organized designer and excel in the communication of corporate design in: Showroom, Trade Show, Web and Product Design.
You have exceptional business judgment and are highly creative with a big imagination and zeal for brand awareness.
You have strong presentation skills and a keen eye for marketing trends.
You have a University Degree, or College Diploma in Visual Merchandising Arts or the equivalent and at least 3 years of design in your background, specializing in trade show design and print media.
You must have excellent English and Chinese skills both oral and written, for utilization within the framework of the positions requirements, working with clients in Chinese and working with subject matter and content in Chinese as well. |
