Our client has grown to over $200 million in revenue over the last five years and are the 6th largest independent distributor of electronic components in the world
As Buy Side Trader, you will be working in a training program responsible for sourcing key products and market information, negotiating buy price and terms, and seeing deals through to completion.
You will be required to develop strong relationships within the vendor base you are working; you must quickly learn your assigned commodity and understand the market and the way supply and demand move. All the time, you will be developing and learning about the electronic component marketplace and positioning yourself to move ahead in your career.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for sourcing of products in support of global company deals.
• Responsible for development of vendors and vendor base.
• Responsible for communicating market updates and happenings within the company.
• Responsible for growing the assigned commodity and proactively offering product to get deals going.

Requirements
• Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of success and strong communication skills.
• This position requires someone who is extremely intelligent, can think on their feet, has strong negotiation and closing skills, and is very well organized.
• We are looking for a university degree and at least 1-3 years of sales experience.
• No industry experience required.
• One of the following languages: Dutch, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Spanish and the Eastern European languages-Hungarian, Romanian, Czech
• Salary 24-34K Euros pa (depending on experience), plus uncapped commission.
