Summary: Opportunity for a highly motivated software/electrical engineer with a diverse skill set to play an active role in supporting company’s Advanced Biomedical Imaging Laboratory in Paramus, NJ.
Responsibilities
• Design, test, and integrate advanced optical imaging systems for medical diagnosis
• Work within a research and development team in which projects are brought from concept to product in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
• Develop software for automating instrument control and data acquisition as well as for image and signal processing.
• Assist in the preparation of scientific publications.
Requirements
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field. MS a plus.
• 2 to 5 years industry experience or equivalent laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Visual C++, MFC, Socket Level development, Multithreading application development.
• The ideal candidate will possess application design experience in data acquisition, test equipment control, motion control, and signal and image processing.
• Experience with Matlab a plus. Knowledge of visualization techniques a plus.
• Experience in designing (OOD) and/or integrating engineering systems preferred.
• Experience with optical imaging systems and/or electro-optics a plus.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Experience writing system requirements and software specifications a plus.
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
