The assistant controller/operations analyst will lead the general accounting and reporting function of the Alternative Investments business consisting primarily of Fund of Hedge Funds. Reporting directly to the Controller and with additional responsibilities to the COO, the right candidate will work closely with the Controller in creating accounting and financial planning policies and key performance indicators and integrating the AI requirements with the fund at large. The candidate will be detail oriented and will be responsible for creating complex worksheets for management reporting purposes to help drive the growth of the business. |
| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Qualifications:
• 6+ years financial services experience, with exposure to hedge funds preferred
• 4 year college degree (Accounting preferred)
• Understanding of hedge funds and fund of funds
• Strong understanding of internal controls
• Highly motivated and proactive
• The ability to manage processes and people
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated record of academic achievement
• Skills in Excel required experience with Advent Axys Advent Partners and Quick Books skills a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Strong self motivation skills
