Job Description:
Purpose:
As member of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team, responsible for providing in-house application development services to meet complex internal and external client reporting and data management requirements, and for future state definition of the PLM application. Must be able to take a complex abstract level need as described by Subject Matter Specialists, and break it down to the individual requirements that would aggregate to fulfill that need. Responsible for comprehensive analysis, design and testing of the application, and for effective user management.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business community to help drive business decisions and re-engineer business processes
Participate in new process implementation activities.
Knowledge in Product Information Management principles:
· functional blueprints & technical specifications
· security/access control
· multi-site concurrency management
· product data
· configuration management
· QA process (promotion of software builds through development / test / production)
Translate business requirements into External / Internal design documentation
Confirm system requirements, draft clear and concise specifications and documentation.
Leverage functionality of existing PLM applications to satisfy requirements from multiple business units and to facilitate business process improvement and innovation
Assist in the development of process and functional scripts in preparation for Integration and User Acceptance Testing.
Provide functional and technical system support to the user community.
Work independently and in a team environment to accomplish team goals.
Develop and execute test scenarios required to verify system enhancements and new business application modules/releases.
Provide input into future Functionality, Implementation Methodology and Customization Standards
Driving issue resolution and escalating when appropriate

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Working Experience with requirements gathering and process design
Working Experience in design and development of business processes using Workflow definition tools
Knowledge of PTC Windchill Business Systems Administration and Systems Administration Functionality a plus
Working Experience in a PLM application (e.G. PTC Flex PLM)
Exposure to Web Technologies, relational databases (Oracle) , XML, Java,
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems
5 years business analysis experience. Strong multiple discipline business background.
Consumer goods/Retail/Fashion industries experience a plus. |
