A fortune 500 company in Washington DC has retained our services to find a Full Time Qa Technical Tester to be a part of their QA Team.
Job description:
• The resource should have development background because they have SQL and hence, will need to do lot scripting
• In addition, few codes to be written on Java or C++ (OOD Concepts) and must have done backend testing
Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science or mathematics.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (coursework or experience)
• 2+ year web application development experience
• Experience in PERL, CGI, Python, or some other scripting language
• Fluent in Java, C++, C#, or some other object oriented programming language
• 4+ years of experience in the development and execution of test plans and test scripts for large-scale Web-based applications and documenting the results in a manner that is easily understood.
• 4+ years Experience using Mercury /Rational testing tools (Quality Center, QTP/WinRunner and ReqPro in particular)
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of audio and video compression formats
• Experience with VB or excel macros
• Experience in Load/Performance testing
