Irish family with two children, a girl age 2.5 yrs and a an infant boy (6 months), seeks a mature and responsible Au Pair/Mother`s Help from November 1st 2008. A keen interest in children and child development is required.
The role will involve FULL TIME care for the children, in addition to assisting in the general running of the household (childrens` ironing, some cooking, light housework).
The position is located adjacent to Dundalk in County Louth, north eastern Ireland, approximately 1 hour north of Dublin. The family lives in a quiet village. There is a large town within 10 minutes by car.
This is a demanding position and the salary offered will reflect the level of responsibility involved. Only EU citizens or those entitled to work in the EU should apply, please.
The successful candidate will have their own room, equipped with tv, radio/stereo, pc etc. A full, clean driving licence is essential as the role holder will have full use of a car (for both work and private time). All weekends free, 20 days paid holiday per annum (pro rata) plus all public holidays. Some travel with the family will be required. A minimum commitment of 6 months is sought, with a preference for candidates who can commit to a 12 month stay. Funding of English classes for non-English speakers a possibility.
We would be very happy to welcome speakers of French, German, Spanish or Italian in particular, to help our children learn a little of these languages. |
