Description of Position:
This position provides the overall direction for organizational change management for key strategic initiatives to assure efficiencies and a return on investment for the stated project.
In addition this position provides overall direction for organizational training and development to ensure employee engagement through the effective alignment, development, coordination and delivery of learning and development opportunities.
Directs, develops, mentors, and coaches a team of skilled organizational change specialists and educators/trainers who support the delivery of training/learning solutions to meet the business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Directs the delivery of key organizational effectiveness and educational management services
2. Develops internal management change capabilities through the mentoring and coaching of assigned personnel.
3. Determines strategies for organizational effectiveness, training and development to assure the preparedness of its human resources to meet business needs. Directs the implementation of strategies and services.
4. Participate in the administration of personnel policy and procedures to include salary/compensation, career planning and counseling, team development, performance feedback and appraisals, retention and recruitment.
5. Prepare and manage business unit plan and budget to include cost center expense budget, capital budget and labor plan.
6. Participate in the development of overall human resources strategy and plans to ensure the integration of HR systems |
| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Required Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field or equivalent amount of related work experience and training.
2. At least 3 years of documented business related experience in operations or human resources.
3. At least 3 years supervisory experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
4. Effectively handle multiple assignments due within short time frames.
5. Effectively communicate with senior executives in high pressure situations.
6. Effectively evaluate multiple sources and possibly conflicting information and recommend courses of action to accomplish priority goals and objectives.
7. Detail Oriented
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Previous skills or knowledge in Group Facilitation.
10. Previous skills or knowledge in Organization Change Management.
11. Previous skills or knowledge in Training and Development.
***Prefers candidates that have local ties to Hawaii and most importantly, know about Hawaiian culture.
