Job Description:
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is developing business plans involving the entire project management cycle or a portion of a project. This position may also assist in the development of less experienced Business Analysts.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
• Act as leader for assigned projects or may assist a more experienced analyst with a portion of a larger project. Responsibility would include ownership for the entire project management cycle or a portion of the project management cycle: functional design, application testing/installation and training of end users. Must maintain a thorough understanding of Carhartt, Inc. business practices and the computer systems that support them.
• Assist in the analysis of changes in software issued by the manufacturer or vendor, determining the impact on business and existing systems or in evaluating new software systems.
• May be responsible for assisting in the development of less experienced business analysts by advising them on the identification and documentation of current practices and mentoring them on the completion of the project management cycle.
• Work with user and development groups to identify and document system recommendations for current and future development.
• Work with users to refine process and procedure guidelines.
• Resolve moderate level software support issues with little assistance.
Qualifications:
Competencies:
Education
o Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required; business related degree preferred.
Experience:
• Advanced knowledge (minimum of 5 years) in the support and development of AS400 applications preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and/or apparel industry (order processing, financials, manufacturing, shipping, etc.) preferred.
