The person in this position is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and administering human resources activities for specific departments. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and administering various human resource programs, assisting other HR personnel when needed and overseeing the workers’ compensation for assigned facilities.


Responsibilities:
•Oversee associate relations at the assigned facilities. This will include working with managers and supervisors on disciplinary issues, performance challenges, rewards and recognition, and terminations. Advise company personnel on policy interpretation
•Oversee performance management and organizational development
•Develop job descriptions, perform job evaluations, and create comp analyses
•Assist with training and facilitation of human resource programs
•Research, develop, and write policies and procedures
•Develop and implement various human resource programs and processes
•As needed, develop recruiting strategies for area of responsibility. Coordinate the entire selection process: phone screen, interviews, testing when applicable, background checks, compensation recommendation, etc.
•As needed, monitor, track, analyze, and report all incoming resumes/applications, recruiting expenses, recruiting and hiring strategies, and recruiting trends
•Oversee workers’ compensation process from initial incident and throughout the ADR process.

Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience required.

PHR or SPHR certification preferred

Experience
Minimum five years human resource generalist experience required.

Minimum three years workers’ compensation experience required.



Working conditions:
Normal office environment
Some travel required (approx. 15%)
