Job Description – PDS Piping Designer
General:
Designers are the contact for Team Leaders with regard to any Layout or design
aspects for the project execution. The Piping Designers report to the Department
Manager.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Piping designer shall be responsible for the Project Execution covering all
Engineering Phases from Proposal, Basic, Detail, Commissioning and Construction.
As well as, preparation, extraction and checking of Detail drawings, as shown below
and responsible for following but not limited to:
• Ensure design compliance with respective client specifications and codes.
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD applications.
• Complete familiarity with Respective industry Codes / standards.
• Technical co-ordination with all disciplines related to engineering effort.
• Participation as required in Design Reviews.
• Assist with fabrication and / or construction activities, as required.
• Piping design dwgs: Plot Plan, piping arrangements, isometrics, mto’s etc.
-Minimum of 5 years PDS experience.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
• Intermediate level CADD software skills.
• Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software, Lotus Notes and other
Company and discipline specific software applications.
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors,
colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
