| Stellen-Beschreibung: |
This position will be responsible for assisting the Company in successfully negotiating license agreements for the Japanese market. The Company has an extensive technology and intellectual licensing business related to the G-GUIDE interactive program guide. Working with the senior management of the Company's Japanese subsidiary, this position will be responsible for drafting and negotiating technology and intellectual property license agreements with consumer electronic manufacturers, service providers and other companies. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the management and development the Company's Japanese patent portfolio, working with employees in Japan and the US, along with outside patent counsel. This position reports directly to the Company's Executive Vice President of IP & Licensing and the Vice President of Legal Affairs, both based in the United States, and indirectly to the Company's President, Asia - Pacific, based in Tokyo.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Minimum of 5 years of licensing experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully concluding license agreements. Strong understanding of patents and the Japanese patent process, along with the ability to engage in substantive discussions with third parties (including licensee's patent counsel) about such issues during the course of negotiations. Ability to present the relevance of the Company's patent portfolio from a commercial and technical perspective. Strong business, negotiation and communication skills required. Japanese and English language skills required.
Favorable experiences: Japanese CE manufacturers, Cable/Satellite operators, Mobile phone carries, Telco companies.
