The Position
We are currently looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial individual to research, develop, and manage conferences and seminars, from initiation to completion for the IT and business markets in Singapore and Malaysia.
Reporting to the Programme Director, you will be responsible for the creation and management of a number of events, of which you will bring your experience and expertise to bear. You will work in tandem with the Programme Director to ensure a continuous supply of products throughout the year as well as be responsible for quality management and improvements in both procedure and product.
Core Responsibilities
* Analyse, research, identify and develop commercially viable conference and seminar programmes. You will do so using a combination of telephone and online research & analysis
· Identify, invite and confirm appropriate speakers for conferences
* Meet established deadlines
* Conduct ongoing research within assigned areas to further industry knowledge and develop new conference ideas
* Work with and support a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing, sales and sponsorship of conferences. This includes writing marketing and sales copy and other brochureware
* Ensure profitability of events produced

* Well versed in Office and research over the internet
Requirements
* Graduate (any discipline)
* Minimum 4 years conference production experience
* Strong language skills (English), both written and oral
* Must be able to demonstrate a personal track record in producing innovative and commercially viable events
* Able to produce conferences/seminars in at least 2 subject areas
* Has a detailed business knowledge in at least 2 geographical markets, including Singapore
* Excellent copywriting skills
* Creativity – the artistic ability and creativity to produce highly sought after and timely conferences
