Stellen-Beschreibung: Position Summary:
The HR Coordinator is a mid-level to senior position that reports directly to the HR Director. The incumbent will be responsible for providing field level support to all the branches’ HR teams in China for employee relations, assisting in the education and follow-up of all company policies and procedures ensuring compliance with all employment laws, the administration of benefits, assisting with recruitment and staffing, and working as a liaison between all the company branches in the region. Key areas of responsibility relate to supporting Organizational Excellence, hiring, learning, performance management, employee practices and relations, compensation and HR communications in the region.

The qualified candidate will be an influential leader in the organization and will be responsible for leading the branches’ HR work and aligning it with the needs of the organization

Key Responsibilities include:
• Ensure effective execution of the HR program and processes in the region, and provides counsel to management relating to HR issues; Support China Head Office HRD by implementing group HR standard processes and procedures in the region, providing strategic HR guidance for the region and driving HR practice
• Evaluate regional HR practices and trends and ensure best in class HR solutions are implemented throughout the region; Define HR strategies, plans and objectives for the region; Lead and develop the region’s HR organization; Assess HR process efficiency; Lead, coach and develop the region HR teams•
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of Human Resources Department in relation to established goals; recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed; Align the HR organization to the strategic needs of the company
• Assures consistent application of all company policies and procedures
• Identify and develop talent; Promote work force diversity; Recruit for managerial positions; Assists in developing and implementing a proactive action plan to retain employees and reduce turnover; Define and implement succession plans
• Employee relations; conducts investigations as coordinated by CHO HRD; Plans and schedules visits to all locations in region & conducts employee meetings as appropriate
• Assesses management/supervisory training needs and delivers appropriate training where necessary
• Maintains compliance with provincial and state regulations concerning employment
• Conducts compensation studies and provides recommendations
• Participate to the development of Group HR standards, guidelines and policies
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Kenntnisse erforderlich: Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience in the HR field; Strong background in HR and associated principles - such as organizational development; professional in Human Resources preferred
• Thorough knowledge of best practice HR disciplines
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation; ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Understanding of employment laws; advanced knowledge of Republic of China regulations and labor laws
• Must possess ability to communicate across all levels of management and staff in order to effectively exchange information, ideas and answer inquiries; Leadership - the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage others; Influencing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, desk top publishing tools, PC’s, printers, facsimile and other office machinery
• Effective problem solving skills; Flexible approach; Evidence of leading and implementing change
• Excellent interpersonal skills; Relationship building
• Must be able to develop and foster a team environment, inclusive style
• Must be able to travel 40% - 60% of the time
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must speak good English and Chinese as well as write both languages
