My client is searching for Ericsson Solution Architect for CS3.0.
You will provide a technical consulting service in customer projects.
You will be in charge of the preparation of Solution documents for different Charging system Nodes (SDP, VS, AIR, Minsat, CCN, EMA, EMM, all CS3 nodes, preparation of the Acceptance criteria & Test Object Lists, communicate with customer regarding technical comments & clarifications.
The Solution Architect supports the sales phase as well as the delivery phase in the projects, by creating the solution as well as being involved in the detailed requirements phase.
Solution Architects also run individual consulting projects as part of larger integration projects or as stand alone projects, where the consultant is working in a customer team onsite.
Experience from the system integrations (IT) and/or mobile telecoms industry is a prerequisite for this position and years of software development experience as well. Key responsibilities for this position cover areas such as
• Ownership of the system architecture
• Responsibility for design of system or subsystem
• Definition of points for customization of Ericsson products.
• Definition of the high level business process design
• Participation in design reviews of own and other solutions.
• Alignment of technical solution to business requirements
• Responsibility of testing activities is carried out in accordance with defined processes
• Technical management of outsourced software development activities
Requirements
The Solution Architect applies knowledge in one or more areas to handle complex problems and/or co-coordinating work.
As a result you will have experience in the following:
• Actively listening to the customer’s business and technical needs
• Anticipating customers needs, by investigating the underlying causes and identifies short and long term solutions,
• Delivering presentations and demos and
• Writing solution descriptions based on the high level business and technical requirements of the customer, as part of initial solution offers to the customers.
- The ability to act as a Project Manager or Technical Manager where required
You will have a suitable qualification such as a BSc or MSc in computer science, electrical engineering or information technology and at least 5 years experience in IT or telecoms industries.
A good understanding of the operator architecture is preferred as is a track record in working with mobile operators, although we will also consider strong candidates with experience of working for other industries and a willingness to learn a new business.
You must have :
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Good influencing skills
- A structured approach to problem solving.
You must speak and write English fluently. Candidates with fluent Arabic are preferred.
