Job Description:
Overall Purpose:
To carry out access transmission planning and other related technical activities to support project implementation requirements.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the solutions group to get all the needed input for the detailed access transmission planning such as the scope of work, nominal plans, design considerations and ordered equipment
Coordinate with ASP for site surveys and line-of-sight (LOS) checking activities in accordance to the nominal plan
Perform detailed access transmission network design including path calculation, capacity planning, and frequency planning taking into consideration the site survey results that may require some changes from the nominal plan
Provide updated TND-related implementation documents to Installation Engineering (IE) group
Provide temporary transmission solutions if needed due to unforeseen project implementation constraints
Coordinate with the RAN Department for the proper implementation of the designed transmission network and provide on-site technical support as needed
Attend to internal and customer project meeting when required
Report to Project Manager and TND Manger/Team Lead
