Job Description
I. Job Details
Job Title: FO Engineer

Reports to: FO Team leader
Ii. Job Purpose
The responding activities for all alarms which are detected by network management system.
III. JOB Dimensions

Iv. Key Result Areas
• Responsible for network monitoring, escalation of faults, prioritizing them and taking necessary action to correct them.
• Timely response to Fault complaints
• Pre-diagnose the Fault;
• Classify and escalate the Fault;
• Timely response to acknowledged Fault;
• Take proper actions to restore Fault;
• Properly judge the complexity of the Fault and escalate to Second Level Engineer effectively;
• Dispatch task to Field Engineer and responsible to log relevant information.
• Record and feedback Fault related information accurately and precisely.Prepares of required reports and reviews with superiors
• Implement changes WO of BSS system configuration
• Responsible for replying to e-mails, such as receiving complaints, replying to questions, distributing problems, problem tracing etc.
• Responsible for replying to queries and issues highlighted by optimization team.
• Shift handover.

Vii. Problem Solving & Decision Making
• Guide to dispatch all kind of requests to appropriate engineers or management level for handling within the responding time of service level agreement (SLA) limits.
• Normal O&M actions and activity to keep the network running smoothly and free of faults.
VII. Knowledge , Skills & Experience
• Academic and professional qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in electrical / Telecommunications / Electronic engineering
Related experience
• 2 years experience in operation, maintenance.
• Familiar with the function and operation of NMS.
• Clearly know the definition of all kinds of alarms and the relationship of these alarms in Nms.
• The ability of initial analysis of alarm and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with the use of realted IT system.
