A: Fault handling for iManager N2000 NMS Systems
The expert in COM is going to do the following functions, but not limited to:
1. Support O&M team on fault handling and performance functions for the iManager N2000 NMS systems.
2. Support O&M team to analyze the failures for the iManager N2000 NMS systems
3. Support O&M Team for Preventive and Corrective maintenance for the iManager N2000 NMS systems.
4. Support O&M team on using the systems’ coming along with the iManger N2000 NMS system.
5. Study and identify the knowledge gaps in O&M team related to iManager NMS systems and conduct necessary On-job training (OJT) to increase knowledge level.
B: Configuration and Integration of iManager N2000 NMS Systems
The expert in COM is going to do the following functions, but not limited to:
1. Support O&M team to coordinate and implement Software and hardware upgrade.
2. Support O&M team to review the fault handling of the iManager N2000 NMS systems and issue necessary work instructions to reduce the risk and fault cycle time.
3. Support O&M team to review the performance of iManager N2000 NMS systems, issue necessary technical investigation reports to improve the performance.
Note:
The expert will be directly under management of STC’s COM department for the duration of contract in Stc.
The expert will have to abide by all the rules governing the staff of COM department related to working hours and special duty hours.
The expert will have to execute his responsibilities as STC’s COM department’s instructions.
STC will evaluate the expert if he meets STC’s expectations and requirements.
Basic Requirements:
Expert should have an experience in the following area:
Knowledge of Solaris operating system
Experience of working on SUN servers and HP servers of at least 5 years
Hands-on experience with Internet protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, Routing protocols, etc.)
Hands-on knowledge on Data network; voice; TDM; Frame relay and Atm.
Designing, managing and troubleshooting fault in the iManager N2000 NMS system.
Education:
Bsc in related field of Science with communication systems NMS experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in telecommunication system, and at least 3 years in Maintenance of Telecommunications Network Management Systems. Good knowledge of SUN and HP servers are necessary.
