Job Description:
System
· Should be good in Windows (ADS, DHCP, DNS, proxy, Exchange, Etc).
· Knowledge in Linux would be an added advantage.
Networking
· Should be good in Advanced switching, LAN security, Advanced Routing,
· Should be excellent in WAN Security, IP Sec VPN, Crypto Map, Auto Failovers,
Wan Monitoring tools, in-depth troubleshooting experience etc
· Should have over all exposure in latest and cutting edge corporate IT
Infrastructure, be able to understand the core business of customers and design,
Architect, implement and maintain medium and large networks.
· Hands on / Knowledge in Voice (IP Telephony), Video (Conferencing,
Surveillance Web Cast etc), Telecom (Last Mile & Broad band technologies),
Storage, RF – ID, Campus networking Network Auditing and Datacenters would
Be added advantage.
Switching
· Should be good in design, Implementation and maintenance of medium (500 – 600
Nodes) and large (above 1000 nodes) LAN on both Passive and active components
· Should process excellent product knowledge on basic Cisco CE 500 to 4500, 6000
Chassis switches.
· Should have hands on experience in handling 500, 2900, 3500, 3700, 4500, 6500
Series switches and designing distribution, Access and core LAN Networks.
· Should be good in advance LAN security such as VLANS, Dynamic VLAN
Routing, Port Management, ACL’s, Port mirroring, Monitoring, aggregation,
Multicasting etc.
· Should have good hands-on experience in LAN performance and monitoring tools
· Should be good in design, implementation and maintenance of large heterogeneous
Campus networks
· Knowledge in datacenter switching, Wi Fi and LAN audits is an added advantage.
Routing
· Should be good in advanced routing & ISP Last Mile technologies, Implementing,
Trouble shooting and maintaining MPLS, P2P, ISDN, IPLC WAN infrastructure
Etc.
· Should have hands on experience in 800, 1800, 2800, 3800, 7200 and above
Routers and designing WAN (Internet VPN, MPLS, P2P, IPLC, BRI, PRI etc)
Infrastructures with more than 200 nodes.
· Should be good in OSPF, BGRP, HSRP auto failover, building redundancies etc.
· Will be responsible for designing networks up to 200 locations.
· Should be excellent in subnetting networks.
· Should have excellent CISCO Chassis Switches (basis to 4000, 6000 Series) with
Clear knowledge in SUP’s, Routers (800 to 7000 series), Security (All PIX and
ASA) Product Knowledge.
Security
· Should be extremely good in IP-VPN, IP-Sec tunneling, P2P & Client, ISAKMP
Crypto map, failover, ASA, ACL’s, PAT, Port Blocking, Anti virus solutions,
DMZ, etc.
· Should have Hands on Exp. PIX 500, 515E, 525E & ASA appliances
· Knowledge in Radius, RSA ID, NAC, ACS, Content and web filtering, would be
Added advantage.
· Should have excellent product knowledge on CISCO Security appliance such as
PIX and ASA
· Hands-on Experience in network audits would be an added advantage

· Coordinate with operations, sales & other teams to execute the projects
