One of the worlds most innovative global technology businesses is seeking to augment its top level team with the addition of a number of Structured Trade Finance experts. As a $ Multi-Billion leader within its field they have been awarded a number of ‘world’s best’ awards for research and development, employee relations and customer satisfaction.
Due to rapid organic expansion they are looking to increase their global capability with new hires in France, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and the UAE. Working closely with the legal, risk, technology, sales, operations, finance and compliance departments, you will be responsible for financing high value and limited, trade finance projects. Specific responsibilities include:
· Creation and management of the trade financing solution from initial concept documentation, through quantative and qualitative research of the project, through to implementation and ongoing management
· Running the financial negotiations between Telco carriers and operators, government representatives and financial institutions
· Conducting market and structured financial research on customers and competitors (i.E. Country, client and project analysis)
· Preparation of all commercial documents and business plans
· Management of the project development life cycle, keeping track of resource utilisation and coordination with relevant parties to handle and resolve possible variances from original project plan
· Managing a support staff to ensure strict adhesion with all international regulations
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the worlds leading telecommunications organisation at a time of significant growth and as such we are only looking for the highest calibre of individual. You will have considerable experience in structured trade finance from an international Investment bank or trade finance organisation or you will have held a senior position in export finance in a multinational equipment manufacturer. In addition, you will possess the ability to lead creatively and think strategically. CFA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualifications are preferred as is an exposure to UCP600.
