Unix System Administration Support
?Maintain System Integrity especially Hp-9000 & Hp Superdome UNIX Platform.
?Ensure smooth operation.
?Training and Knowledge Transfer to Junior Staff
?Develop and Maintain Processes, Procedures, and Documentation
?Monitor, Measure, and Report on the Progress and Performance of the System with Recommendation to the Management for Evaluation
Job Responsibilities:
?administer Hp 9000 & Hp Superdome series of Computers and Peripherals
?Software Integrity: Memory Management, File Allocation, Disk Allocation, and I/O Data Flow
?Systems Security: Login, Password, and Track Users
?Analyze & trouble-shoot problems and recommend corrective actions.
?Software Upgrade, Test, and Acceptance: Review MOP, Assist/Load Upgrade, Follow checklist, Test, Track, and close MOP
?Run appropriate diagnostics for recovery and performance
?Monitor, Measure, and Report System Performance
?Technical Support to remote operators and users
?Overall Administration, Guidance, Work Layouts, Instructions and Supervision of COM Systems and Computer Operators
?Installation and Maintenance of UNIX Versions and Releases to the current levels
?Ensure Operational Procedures and Documentation are updated and well maintained to the current levels.

Requirements:
Background Requirements:
The candidate must meet the following criteria:
?MS or BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
?Certified Training in HP-UNIX Systems Administration on Hp-9000 & Hp Superdome Platform.
?Six (6) years experience in IT environment with at least five (4) years in UNIX Operating Systems.
?Knowledge of Hp-9000 Unix & Hp Superdome Platform, Distributed Systems, UNIX Shell, C, C++, Data Networks, TCP/IP.
?Ability to Manage Tasks involving Operating Systems, Systems Software, and Relational Databases.
?Ability to conduct System Design review, Testing and Integration of required System Operations and Networks.
?Good Interpersonal, Project Management, and Communication skills.
?Must Speak, Read and Write English. Arabic Speak, Read and Write would be an asset.
