Description
This is a full-time consulting position located in Western Europe. No relocation. English must be one of the languages. Stock options are available for this position. Must have experience in ophthalmology and medical devices.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the person in this position will be to launch the VIDION(tm) ANV Therapy System for the treatment of neovascular Age-related Macular Degeneration throughout multiple countries outside of the United States utilizing already targeted as well as undefined distributors. This will require extensive travel to all markets to provide technical and commercial assistance to the individual distributors in locating initial Key Opinion Leaders in each market. Additional duties will include attendance at trade shows and seminars in support of NeoVista, assisting the Company in defining and executing strategic marketing/sales plans, and validating new product ideas with our customers. Other miscellaneous tasks will be assigned. Applicants must be willing to travel greater than 50% on an annual basis.
The person in this position must have a high level of energy and initiative, with proven reasoning abilities and sound judgment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. A high level of teamwork and a collaborative style are musts.

Travel Time Required:
Greater than 50%. This position will likely entail periodic international travel so the person in this position must have the ability to collect and maintain needed travel documents.

EDUCATION and/or Experience:
University degree is required. A burning desire to help grow a business; 3-5 years business development experience; 3-5 years experience using Internet-based (and other) marketing methods; 3-5 years marketing budget management experience; 3-5 years tracking and analyzing marketing activity and ROI; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven ability and track record of growing businesses.
Very strong customer focus.
Excellent speaking skills in order to represent the company throughout the industry.
Industry background in the medical device field.
The ability to develop and articulate clear and compelling communications.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
