Job Description
Siebel Subject Matter Expert will join the Siebel Development and 3rd line support team. The key purpose of this role will be:
„X To ensure the high technical quality and timely delivery and support of global Siebel CRM system change requests.
„X Guide the 3rd level application support (Incident, Problem, Change management) and development team in areas related to Siebel Architecture
„X Act as a technical team leader and design authority and prepare the contractor terms of reference and provide input to estimates for small application changes.
„X Coordinate with business management for translation and mapping of customer requirements
„X Will be a point of contact between the development team and the other technical teams for any issues related to Siebel CRM system
„X Interact with different department of Infrastructure (Operations, Architecture and Infrastructure, Project Management Office etc¡K) to have the Siebel environment co-exist with other application environments
„X Co-ordinate with Business team and application team for any issues in Siebel OLTP and Analytics production environment.
„X Authorize the detailed design and development technical proof of concepts and technical development.
„X Manage Siebel production environments also provide on demand support to manage Development, Conversion, Integration, QA, Staging and Production environments.
„X Manage migration effort between different environments
„X Play role in upgrades and new implementations of Siebel
„X Assist in release and migration planning
„X Be responsible for Siebel Production readiness and health check review
„X Work with Siebel Expert Services and Database Administrators to tune the application for performance
„X Work with the integration team during Data Loads to improve the performance of data loads
„X Interface directly with users to provide quick resolution to critical support issues
Job Requirements
„x Significant IT development and configuration experience in a Siebel role
„X Working with and leading development team with broad and deep Siebel technical skills;
„X Good RDBMS and Oracle knowledge
„X Sound knowledge of IT industry, and understanding of full lifecycle Siebel implementations
„X Siebel 7.8 Certification is highly desirable
„X Good surround technology expertise on Siebel v7.8 and related technologies, XML, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix/SQL server, Java Scripting, VB Scripting
„X Significant experience in CRM Siebel system configuration
„X Experience in Siebel Call Center working with Siebel Service Request module
„X Good experience in support for Siebel Analytics production environment.
„X Experience with Siebel analytics deployments in production.
„X Configuration and deployment experience on four or more Siebel 7.8 implementation projects
„X Experience in Siebel Workflow (troubleshooting end to end workflow etc¡K)
„X Siebel development and enhancement project.
„X Strong analytical skills, and development of project documentation skills
„X Experience in Siebel Reports creation
„X Good Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and functions
„X Experience supporting Siebel production environment for approximately more than 2500 users
„X Excellent communication and influencing ability, Strong verbal and written communication skills
