Reports To: Program Director or Sr. VP, Consulting and Delivery Services
Salary – 12 L -18 L p.a. (as per candidature)

Job Description
Overall purpose and intent of the job
To serve as Implementation Specialist responsible for implementing software, network configurations, and design plans and requirements for products and mobile data solutions. More specifically, this Technical Consultant is expected to:
• Perform primary technical tasks related to project implementation
• Deploy and integrate software and solutions for trials, pilots and production implementations into customer networks and environments. Integration may be at the network level and/or with back-end systems.
• Test points of integration, routes, connections, and basic functionality to insure an environment is ready for solution and integration testing.
Primary responsibilities of the job
• Plan and design IP addressing schemes.
• Insure all installation prerequisites have been completed before beginning installation / integration tasks.
• Develop and deploy load balancer configurations as required.
• Install products and solution software (remotely or onsite, depending on the particular customer situation)
• As a senior member of ’s solution delivery team, the incumbent must have the ability to be extremely hands-on and must be able to work independently with customers to resolve (or coordinate the resolution of) the more complex integration issues.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required in this position
The ideal person for this position is a senior technical professional with a background in mobile network operators, network and system administration, and a broad knowledge of network components such as load balancers, gigabit switches, SAN switches, operating systems, and databases. This individual should have an ability to engage a Customer in discussions of proposed network solutions and requirements, interface and integration issues, and he/she should have an ability to communicate these effectively to others within.
• System Level Experience:
o Experience in Mobile Data Services (Messaging – MMS and SMS, WAP services, etc.)
o Strong background in network administration and communication protocols (TCIP/IP, DNS and Routing, load balancers, gigabit switches, etc.)
o Strong background in systems administration in a Unix/Linux environment
o Working knowledge of distributed server-based application integration experience (LDAP, Corba, J2EE)
o Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle 9i/10g and/or MySQL)
• Other important skills
o Experience working on large projects within large corporations
o Ability to work independently and achieve assigned objectives with little or no supervision.
o Knowledge of F5 load balancers would be a plus.
Other requirements of the job
• An ability to travel internationally is a requirement. The extent of travel is driven by many different factors; customer location, customer preference for on or offsite development, which product is being implemented, and phase of the project.
