Successful candidates will be responsible for the delivery of nursing services to the practice population. They will deliver care within the boundaries of their role. The candidate will be responsible for promoting optimum health and for preventing ill health amongst children and young people. The candidate will have a key role in assessing children`s nursing needs, taking into account their medical, social, cultural and family circumstances, and then plan and deliver care in a variety of settings.It is important that the candidate understands the particular needs of children and how these change through each developmental.
Candidates are not required to submit a payment to Robin Recruitment for use of their services, as Robin Recruitment are remunerated by the end employer.
Robin Recruitment is in a unique position to offer job opportunities to candidates who do not have a NCLEX or CFGNS qualification. In most cases candidates can gain the
NCLEX qualification on the job and there is no longer a need for the CGFNS requirement, as House Bill 4207 (June 2007) abolished this requirement in the State of Michigan.
The employment opportunities for nurses are extensive throughout Michigan, covering districts such as Detroit, Lansing, Ann Arbour, Grand Rapids, Flint, Saginaw and Kalamazoo. Hence, in most cases candidates can be located to an area of their choice.
Salaries range from $40000 to $90000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Robin Recruitment assists with the visa application process and helps organise accommodation and travel arrangements.
Responsibilities
Assessing, observing and reporting on the condition of patients
Preparing patients for operations and procedures
Assisting with tests and evaluations
Setting up drips and blood transfusions
Administering drugs and injections
Supporting, advising and educating patients and close relatives
Observing strict hygiene and safety rules and ensuring that visitors also observe any rules on the ward or unit
Writing reports and updating records before completing a shift

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Requirements:
Must have good English skills
Be a citizen or permanent resident in the European Union
Be a registered nurse in the country of residence
BA honours in nursing, or equivalent
Have a minimum of one year post graduate hospital or clinical experience
Be willing to live and work in Michigan, USA
Requires strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills in order to positively interface with all internal and external customers.
Experience as a paediatric or children`s nurse would be preferred.
