The Site Assessor is responsible to convert customer requirements on site into a preliminary design sufficient for the Project Engineer to engineer a final solution, including compilation of a standard format Site Survey Report meeting all customer requirements, as well as assisting the Project Engineer to endorse the final solution in terms of practicality and cost efficiency.
Execution of accurate site assessments and documenting all aspects as per customer’s requirements, including the scope of works and all required drawings.
Completion of neat hand drawn sketches with all details for submission to the CAD department for drawing purposes.
Checking of all resultant CAD drawings against original documents to ensure correctness, communicate amendments and accuracy thereof where necessary and sign off.
Compilation of Bills of Materials for costing and tendering purposes and after tender award for site construction purposes.
Site configuration and quantity assessment for site build (Bill of Materials).
Generation of all amendments relating to extra works, where required.
Ensuring that all site specific requirements have been received from the customer and issued to him by the Project Manager / Senior Site Assessor.
Read and understand the site specific requirements as well as the specification documents for the specific project.
Completion of a Site Survey Report with a turnaround time of no longer than 48 hours. This report must reflect all requirements for the specific site.
Forward all Engineering information to the Engineering Division for design purposes.
Forward the Site Survey Report as well as the completed drawings to the Project Planning Division for costing purposes.
Liaison with customers, property owners/landlords, authorities and statutory bodies, engineers, etc
Accuracy of drawings and kit-up content.
To comply with any further instructions or requirements of a reasonable nature that may be given by senior management from time to time |
| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Minimum education requirement is a technical diploma or certificate from a recognised institution.
Proficient in basic MS Office package. Knowledge of CAD would be an advantage.
In depth knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication and/or construction industry.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to build and nurture strong customer relationships.
Innovative, practical, hand-on and a keen sense of detail.
Ability to work independently, must be reliable and trustworthy
Flexibility to travel for longer periods at a time.
Work Experience Required
At least 6 years experience in a civil and/or electrical construction environment.
Experience working with cultural diversity a distinct advantage |
